A Ghazal of Sorts

There were truths I never could tell when alive On any day

Truths that will be cremated or buried with me someday

There were hates and loves that gnawed me to the core

Which I did not even to my closest ones

Dared to say

The wounds that men and women inflicted on me every inch

Of the stony and thorny path of life all along the long  way

Hunger and thirst I acutely felt to know and grasp things

Far beyond the ken of reason’s silly.,shallow

And stupid play

The world I dreamt to be ruled by the humblest of beings

A no man's land for everybody’s happiness

Night and day

And so on and so forth I wanted but could not ever dared to express

Alas, will go when I have to pack up all my things one sad day

But will there be some golden future of imagination someday

When someone else will remember and say

All Shiva wanted to say

The same eyes the same expanses

The same sight the same might

The same light the same days

The same seas the same waves

The same sighs the same shores

The same wait The ripe fruit

The same valleys the same peaks

The same stars the void voidkess

The same temples the vacant lots

The same horoscope

The same death will

Sumptuous feats

In burning ghats

So different, your eyes then

So exhausted, your eyes now

The same objects

The same images
