She is the founding editor of Ediciones Pen Press (www.edicionespenpress.com), a New York-based independent press dedicated to the publication of contemporary poetry from around the world. Roffé holds a diploma in Modern Languages from the University of Buenos Aires, and a Ph.D. from New York University. She was awarded a John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship (2001) and a Civitella Ranieri Foundation Fellowship (2012).

My fate
to carry in my soul a white,
barren forest
in my eyes, nothingness
and in my hands, the loop that will choke me
a nest on my head commands me to be born from myself
a crow, meanwhile waits for dawn for the spell brewed by his gaze and mine to break
ROMPIENDO EL CÍRCULO VICIOSO
Mi sino
llevar en el alma un bosque
blanco, estéril
