Thinkimg of Kandinsky and Gabriele Münter
My nickname startles in this bohemian quarter of Munich surrounded by orthodox Jews and immigrants from the East. In the inns of the Rialto two painters drink gin and beer two redheaded whores. The night is clear in the hideaways where the moon suggests itself. What music was Kandinsky listening to drunk in his studio?: Was it Moskva or Kubanskaya vodka that unfastened his madness? In the Cairo Nina wakes up from a nightmare about a lonely boy playing in the lonely snow. Vassily longs for the delineated breasts of Gabrielle there in his rickety old bed for his drunken paintbrush her thighs taut like a delicate Valkyrie. She cries because Vassily cries in Moscow for her: A damsel dressed in pink / ducks in flight / a baroness’ portrait. What does it matter! The piano and the cello are still in the same house. I lose sight of him and surprise him in Neully sur Seine with Paul Klee (drinking a Pernod next to the river). The chiaroscuros and the grays capture the terrible souls and Moholy-Nagy immobilizes their expressions / with his virtuous camera / when he paints a triangle that seems to be motionless. The paintbrush softens the time and clarity of shades and Vassily is obsessive because he is a melancholy genius before whom God’s mouth is silent in night’s total darkness.
Pensando en Kandinsky y Gabriele Münter
Mi apodo es llamativo en este barrio de bohemios de Munich rodeado de judíos ortodoxos e inmigrantes del Este. En los mesones del Rialto dos pintores consumen ginebra con cerveza con unas putas pelirrojas. La noche es clara en los escondites donde apunta la luna. ¿Qué música escuchaba Kandinsky estando ebrio en el taller?: ¿Era vodka Moskva o Kubanskaya el que desataba su locura? Nina en el Cairo despierta de una pesadilla sobre un niño solitario que juega en la nieve solitaria. Vassily anhela los pechos delineados de Gabriele en su camastro para su pincel borracho sus muslos tensos de valkiria delicada. Ella llora porque Vassily llora en Moscú por ella: Una damisela vestida de rosa / patos en vuelo/ un retrato de una baronesa. ¡Qué más da! ….el piano y el cello están todavía en la misma casa. Lo pierdo de vista y lo sorprendo en Neuilly sur Seine con Paul Klee (bebiendo un Pernod junto al río). Los claroscuros y los grises atrapan a las almas terribles y Moholy-Nagy inmoviliza sus gestos /con su cámara virtuosa/ cuando pinta un triángulo que parece estar quieto. El pincel esfuma el tiempo y la claridad de los matices y Vassily es obsesivo porque es un genio melancólico ante quien Dios calla la boca en la oscuridad total de la noche.
